I’m proud of what I achieved in 2025.
I returned to environmental portraits with off-camera flash, an old obsession of mine, and that decision changed everything. Along the way, I became a small but real reference in the flash lighting space and grew my YouTube channel to over 1,500 subscribers.
Below are a few stills from my long-term project, focused on people who work with objects from another era.
Seeing these photoshoots side by side for the first time was revealing. Together, they feel less like isolated shoots and more like a project finally taking shape.
Going forward, I’ll keep shooting, refining my style, and covering gear. Sometimes that means flashes sent by brands, other times equipment I buy myself, like an OLED monitor that’s become a key part of my setup.
Another project finally went live: my Spanish YouTube channel. I’d been recording quietly for a while, but over Christmas I edited and published the first videos. The response was immediate and encouraging. A warm reception that confirmed it was long overdue.
What are your plans for 2026?
With some big life changes coming before summer, I’m choosing flexibility over numeric goals I can’t fully control. No pressure. This is a passion project I run alongside a full-time job.
What won’t change is my commitment to showing up, as much as life allows. When I look back in 20 years, I’m sure I’ll be proud of what I built and what I learned along the way.
